Our B&B
Ty Cornel B&B is part of the village Post Office in the middle of the pretty Welsh village of Trefriw in Eryri | Snowdonia.
Our home was built in the 1600s and has had a variety of uses including a hardware store which sold dynamite, a hairdressers, and a bakery!
It is now the village post office, our home and a bed and breakfast where we welcome guests to this beautiful area.
Our Bedrooms
We have three double bedrooms available in our B&B, all of which are en-suite.
Prices start from £90 per room per night based on two people sharing - you get the lowest rate when you book direct!
All rates include a full cooked breakfast each morning.
Private, off-road car park spaces are available on site.
Our Village
Trefriw is a quiet, picturesque, traditional Welsh village in the Conwy valley, near both the town of Llanrwst and the popular village of Betws-y-Coed.
It is one of the best places to stay in North Wales as attractions and activities such as Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Go Below and Zip World are all close by!
Our village has two pubs (The Old Ship and The Fairy Falls), a brasserie (Chandlers) and a restaurant (The Princes Arms) for dining out - all are just a short walk away from our bed and breakfast.
Breakfast
During your stay we will serve you a traditional cooked breakfast for the best start to your day.
We also offer a selection of other options including fresh fruit, yogurts and cereals.
We are of course happy to cater for vegetarians and any other special dietary needs such as vegan and gluten-free - please just let us know before your stay.
Adventure awaits
There are so many adventure activities in North Wales within easy reach of our B&B!
You can go wild swimming in the lake above our village, and try mountain biking on the tracks and trails in nearby Gwydir Forest.
For more thrills how about experiencing zip wiring and other indoor and outdoor activities at the various Zip World locations near us, or explore underground caves on one of the adventures at Go Below!
Explore outdoors
Hikes from the door take you right into Eryri | Snowdonia National Park.
Two lakes - Llyn Geirionydd (for wild swimming) and Llyn Crafnant (for fishing) - are just above our village, and you will also find forests, rivers and waterfalls all around us.
Our B&B is a short distance from the various trail starting points for the main routes to walk up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), whilst other beautiful walks are within easy reach.
Enjoy great days out
The pretty village of Betws-y-Coed is five miles from our B&B, and other beautiful places to explore in the rest of Eryri | Snowdonia National Park are just a short drive from us.
Attractions on the North Wales coast such as the historic town of Conwy with its magnificent castle and the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno are less than 30 minutes away.
Other popular locations in North Wales such as Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula are an easy day trip out!
